(8 Photos) This local park is a playground for tree lovers! The forecast called for fog this morning, my favorite conditions to shoot in. Just a few miles from home, this park has such a variety of trees along the river to shoot. The last of the fall color finally fell, exposing the mossy mangled branches of the trees. Maybe it's because I am older and slowing down or maybe the years of high pressure photography and travel have finally changed me. More and more I'm realizing that you don't have to go far to find beauty in nature. There's no need to wait until you can make that big trip. Most of the time it can be found right in right in your backyard, unique, relate-able, everyday beauty. And it's just a fulfilling to me here as it is if I had traveled extensively to get to a location.
